GOLD MEDAL WINNER!
The Chelsea garden was designed to showcase the outdoor lifestyle of our Australian culture.
The large gazebo houses an outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, with all the homely features including a LCD television screen and bar fridge. This garden provides ample space and is perfect for entertaining all year round. Featuring unique Australian native plants including the outstanding grass trees, which are beleived to be hundereds of years old. Creating level changes within this garden enabled the spaces to be utilised for specific functions. Such as the sunken lounge area complete with open fire place and surrounded by garden hedges, adds to the intimacy of the design.
Dean's signature water feature table was a focal point of this garden. Two inscribed panes of glass, cantilevered from the wall provides a stunning sheet of water which passes beneath your plate and cascades into the pond below. A very unique feature in itself which attracted a lot of attention during the show.

The Australian crew worked tirelessly on the garden for 15 days straight, an outstanding effort.
